Apple The company seems to be working on an iPhone with two separate but “fairly perpetual” panels.

The rumor comes from Jon Prosser, the leaker, who states the actual production computer may not have a foldable panel.

Microsoft’s Surface Neo

Apple seems to be trying “fairly continuous and seamless” to make the screens look, if not necessarily unobstructed:

There are no rumors of a handset that has steel rims squared, although the latter is rare because the iPhone 12 sources say that the company switches to smooth sides identical to the iPad Pro.

Whereas a foldable iPhone appears at this point to be a clear rumour, it is not like such a device simply joining the bandwagon. MacRumors pointed to rumors about a flexible iPhone dating back to 2016 and the patent that was granted earlier in the year described a device that looks a bit like Prosser.

There is no suggestion whether or not this might operate in future.
